Consistency Is Tough!
Ever felt like wanting to give up? I know. It gets tiring sometimes to continue doing what God has called you to do especially when you don’t see the results you were hoping for. You said yes to the calling but did not realize how much you had to fight against to keep going. You did not realize that you may not get the dedicated support of your family and friends. On your social media platforms, you’re consistently pushing our content and you know that people see it, yet the support is little to none.
No matter what God has called you to do or where God has called you to be, just know that your faithfulness tugs at the heart of God. What you feel like man doesn’t see, God sees. It is your obedience that moves the hand of God. It is your obedience that causes favor to chase you down and blessings to overtake you (Deuteronomy 28:2).
When you live for God, your audience may not always be huge in the beginning, but it is not your job to worry about that. God promises that He will bring the people. He will draw people to you. Your one and only job is to not give up, and to rely on God’s strength in moments of weakness. You may not realize it but somebody is watching you (and I don’t mean that in a creepy way lol). In a way that lets them see if you are real or not. Your consistency is blessing and supporting someone else. What God has placed inside of you is meant to be carried to full terms and birthed so that God’s glory can touch the lives of many.
Comparison is a deadly trap to fall into when you see other’s getting the likes and comments. I get it. It’s an honest feeling. Just don’t sit in it for too long because that will end up opening the door for the enemy to come in. Don’t give the enemy that kind of power. God never asked you to be him or her. He asked you to be you, and He has and will continue to equip you with what you need to get you to where you need to go. Your calling has one name on it and that’s yours. I encourage you to continue doing your thing and watch you reap a bountiful harvest if you faint not (Galatians 6:9). That’s a promise!
