Prior to Summer starting, I got myself a journal from my stationery collection and began writing some things down that I wanted to accomplish for this specific summer. I rewrote these goals 4 different times on 4 different occasions as Summer approached because I wanted to make sure the goals were SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time Based). I rehearsed what I needed to get done and I made it happen with the help of God. Was I able to accomplish all that I wanted to do? Yes! And I am beyond happy and proud of myself for doing so. All too often, we wait until something big happens or someone special comes into our life to celebrate. As great as that is, we should also celebrate when we reach little milestones by ourselves for ourselves.
