    God Is So Good

This blog is unlike any other. This came at a time where I was just reflecting on the goodness of God and not on my circumstances. Many times, we can get so caught up in the things going on in our lives that we forget who God is and what He can do for us if we turn to Him. He is a friend, a comforter, a provider, a healer, and so much more. When you focus more on God and less on self, you will see just how much God has been there for you and wants to continue being there for you. That is how much He loves…

    Financial Freedom as a Single

Your singleness is the time to do for you right? To buy that new fragrance or shirt. To travel the world as much as you can. To start something, work on something, or finish something. No matter what you do as a single, money is somehow involved.  This season of my life, in the year 2023, I made a declaration that I want to live financially free. Financial freedom can mean so many different things to many different people. For me personally, it means no debt [excluding student loan debt because let’s face it, that is a very common, well known debt to millions across the country] and budgeting more.…

    Year 28

This past Wednesday, I officially turned 28! It was such an amazing day with new adventures and a whole lot of shopping! Every penny spent on that day was well beyond worth it. On the drive to our first destination, my sister had asked me, “What does year 28 hold for you?” For the past years, when a question like that was posed on my birthday, I would be able to answer with a few things as to what I would like to see happen for that particular year. Year 28 though? I replied back, “I don’t know. I honestly do not know.” Since the start of this [2023] year,…

    Fear of the Unknown

Hi, my name is Ali and I like control. I like to know every little detail that will take place in my life today, tomorrow, and the day after that. I need to know what would happen if I do this or if I do that. Not knowing what the future holds creates so much anxiety and worry for me. It always has for as long as I can remember. 2 Corinthians 5:7 tells us clearly that we should walk by faith and not by sight, that we need to live by believing and not seeing but the honest human in me tells me that actually knowing what will happen…

    Be Still

“Be still and know that I am God,” (Psalm 46:10) was the verse that came to my mind as I sat at my desk crying, wondering where I should go in life. Should I do this? Should I do that? Should I give up what I love to do? Should I give up what God has called me to? Should I stay? Should I walk away? I was so overwhelmed with my thoughts. In the midst of the tears, I quietly asked God for His help. What should I do God? I do not want to consult with anyone else but you. They cannot help me the way that you…

    Dare to Believe Again

God is asking you to believe again. Stop looking at what is in front of you and look to Who is above you. Even if you do not see it. Even if you do not feel it, know that God is working and He never stops. I am believing for something so big in the year 2023. My finances tell me that it does not make sense to dream for something that I literally have no money for right now. I wrote down this specific thing on my vision board for it to happen this year and although it hasn’t happened YET, I have written it down again on my…
