Don’t Stop

Whatever you do, do not stop. That is something that I have been telling myself these past few weeks because I have felt ready to give up. But no matter how emotionally, mentally, and physically drained I am. No matter what is not going my way. No matter how hard the enemy is attacking me, I have to keep going. I have to keep pushing through. I have to keep fighting. I want the same for you. It’s not easy when you feel by yourself and you feel like you have no one to turn too. It’s not easy when you feel like you are suffocating and being pressed on all sides but isn’t that how diamonds are made? They go through the fire so that all of the impurities can be taken out. When we feel like we are going through, it could be God’s way of purging us. We cannot go higher with the same baggage inside of us. We have to be cleansed. We have to be healed. We need to be made whole again so that we can be in position to receive all that God has for us in that next level. It hurts. I know. But whatever you do, don’t stop.

Many times, when people come to the end of their lives and reflect back on the years they have lived, they do not regret what they did and all that they have accomplished. Their regret comes from what they did not do. What they never accomplished. What they gave up on. Don’t let that be you. God has you on this Earth for a reason. Not to take up space but to be an example to your generation.

God’s Word states that whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours, (Mark 11:24). I am a firm believer that no matter what you are going through, you can have so much peace and joy in your heart. Believe it for yourself. Ask God for it. Maybe your circumstances cannot change right now but your perspective can. Your mindset can. You have the ability to choose what you will allow in and what you allow to take root. Refuse to settle. Refuse to give up.

I want to remind you that in our weakness, God is made strong. His strength is made oh so perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9-11). With the little strength that is left inside of you, you have to cling on to God. You have to cling on to hope, faith, and belief knowing that all that you are going through is going to work out for your good. It will all be worth it in the end. Somebody needs you. Somebody needs your testimony. Keep the faith friend!
