200 Journal Prompts

I would never forget my English class in High School. At the beginning of every class, my teacher made us write in our notebooks for 5 minutes. She would set the timer on the SMARTboard and before she pressed the start button, she would remind us of the one rule: “Do not take your pen off the paper!”. Even if you have nothing else to think about and write, then just write exactly that: “I have nothing else to think about and write.”

At times, I would struggle with journaling not because I did not love to write but I did not know what to write. I could easily do a brain dump and write down everything that is on my mind (which has always been super helpful) but I do not want that to be the case for every journal entry.

This 200 Journal Prompt was created and inspired by me to help the fellow “journaler” out. With 200 prompts, there is more than enough to write about for the days and months ahead!
